Supporting Our Children's Integrity, Empowerment, Transformation, and Youth

SOCIETY was founded on the belief that the well-being of children is a collective responsibility. Embracing the saying, "it takes a village to raise a child," SOCIETY stresses that society, not just parents and children, bears this responsibility. By addressing and transforming dehumanizing systems, SOCIETY aims to promote restorative justice, mental health support, and community-based interventions that have a transformative impact on our youth, ensuring a brighter future for all.

SOCIETY is urgently committed to transforming youth justice by addressing the social health determinants impacting child development and behavior. Starting in Mississippi, we aim to create a foundation for immediate and positive change through community projects, school mental health initiatives, and programs emphasizing rehabilitation over punishment. Our mission is to empower children and youth, ensuring they receive the urgent support needed to thrive. As we establish our presence in Mississippi, we plan to expand our impact across the South and Southeast Region, fostering a safer and more just society for all children.

SOCIETY's four cornerstone programs—Youth Justice Restoration Initiative, Community Projects, Mental Health in Schools, and Social-Emotional Learning—collectively advance our mission to transform youth justice and address social determinants of health. These programs, with your support, treat youth involvement as a healthcare and societal issue, promote transformative and restorative justice practices, improve living environments, support reintegration, advocate for mandatory mental health counselors, and emphasize an age-appropriate social-emotional-learning curriculum and parental engagement. Together, we can empower children, promote rehabilitation over punishment, and foster a healthier, more just community.
